(Near) Native Japanese Speakers for Temporary Annotation Job

Are you in for a flexible part-time temporary job where you can work with your own language?

Textkernel is an international software company that specializes in information extraction, document understanding, web mining and semantic search & matching in the Human Resources sector. We started 15 years ago as a spin-off of academic research and nowadays we have more than 90 colleagues from 20 different countries, developing various interesting recruitment software solutions. You can read more about our company on our website: www.textkernel.com

Currently, we are looking for annotators to mark information in documents (vacancies), so that we can train our software to recognize Japanese information. Although we are an IT company, you don’t need any advanced computer skills. This job requires a bit of insight in linguistics, but being consistent and accurate is the most important aspect. The project will last around 4 to 6 weeks, starting in the very near future, and the payment will be €12.50 per hour. It is very important to assure availability (20 hours per week) from the last week of September 2017 (depending on the pace of annotation maybe the whole month of October). The annotators will undergo a short training at the beginning of the project (around the last week of September) at Textkernel’s premises, after which they can continue working remotely.
